Wonderful establishment in the heart of Abergavenny. We were welcomed by friendly staff who seated us and our small dog inside the restaurant - the aroma from the kitchen as we walked in was mouthwatering! So much choice on the menu it was difficult to make a decision, but settled on a French classic; Croque Monsieur. As a Francophile I've had my share of this dish on my travels and Madame Fromage's version was stunning and far exceeded my expectations. The only thing missing was perhaps a touch of onion chutney, mustard or onion pickle that would have really complemented the dish The coleslaw and salad dressing were to die for! Ngl I would have been happy with just the salad, the dressing was so good! Definitely a new favourite for Abergavenny and will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu! X

We arrived to be received by the friendliest staff; seated quickly and before ordering advised their might be a short wait for hot food as it was a busy lunch service. As it happened it took less than 10 mins from ordering but it was thoughtful of the waiter to share before we ordered. The food was exceptional. We orders Brie baguette and carrot cake - both delicious. The Brie baguette came with a fresh, crisp and zesty salad and creamy homemade coleslaw - all fantastic. The carrot cake was the largest piece of cake - moist, light and not too sweet (though the cream frosting had a sweet kick for those of you who, like me, have a sweet tooth). We chatted to the waiter who was friendly and made some suggestions on places to visit. We saw other meals being deliver to diners tables - it all looked so good. Plentiful size portions, exceptional value. The waiter also made a few things tailored to order for some diners. I’d love to go again (I’d go weekly if I could) but we’re not staying near Abergavenny.

This is one of our favourite local spots for lunch and we have been regulars since they opened in Abergavenny. Food is excellent (whether you're having a sweet treat with coffee or full lunch) and service is very friendly. And of course, they sell wonderful cheese and takeaway treats too.

Absolutely gorgeous beer, cheese and bacon soup and one of the nicest drinks I've ever had, the lime and guava refresher. Staff were really helpful and the cafe is a lovely place to sit. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I ate here on Saturday lunchtime. Although busy, the food arrived in a timely fashion and was good value and excellent quality. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The dish pictured here is their Croque Monsieur with ...

Incredible lunch spot, great atmosphere, fantastic food and service, lots of cakes too. Thank you guys

Scones to die for, incredible soup and according to my little lad, the best milkshakes ever. Really friendly and welcoming staff who gave us open and honest advice around an allergy concern - would totally recommend the food and service here to anyone visiting Abergavenny.

Staff is so friendly, food is truly exceptional, substantial portions, and the sangria has given me the confidence to write this. Will be back as much as possible!
